It’s Time for a Laid Back Reading Break with Children Books
If someone tells you that you’re too old to read Children’s Books, well give them hell and say NO! You’re never too old for Children’s Books. Children’s Books are the only genre which has books that can be read and enjoyed by all ages. They have morals and life lessons which sometimes even adult books lack, they teach a lot about life, relationships and more with the help of interesting storylines and characters.
Children Books obviously should be part of
the kids and children’s lives. The habit of reading and being with books should
be developed and grown in them from the very beginning. Reading is an exercise
which can be really helpful for them in the future. It not only helps their
language but also the worldly knowledge and develops their habit to remember
and learn.
There have been many children’s books which
have been known to have interested and enjoyed by all ages-young, adults, old.
You can even go back to them when you feel too overwhelmed and want to just lay
back and slide into the time where it was much easier and simpler. The best
time of life is childhood and you’re never too old to enjoy it once again or at

2. The Little Prince, Antoine
de Saint-Exupéry
This novella by Antoine de
Saint-Exupéry is a world favourite and has been even adapted into a short
movie. The story is very touching and enlightening. The story is fictional and
though has been seen as a mere children’s story, is filled with lessons. The
story is about a little prince who travels through planets including Earth and
addresses many important themes that reign our lives- love, loneliness,
friendship, loss. The story takes a very
important reflection on life, human nature and adults.
3. The Wind in the Willows by
Kenneth Grahame
This classic published in 1908 has been loved by parents for their children and adults for years. The story follows Mole, Mr. Toad, Badger, and Ratty, our beloved characters through their adventures in Wild Wood. The stories and delightful and quite fun to read. A must read!
